FALKIRK — The Falkirk Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 70 year old George Stevenson out of the Falkirk, Scotland area.
George was last seen on February 10, 2017.
The police are asking people to check their outbuildings, sheds and garages for any sign of him.
George Stevenson was last seen in the Kemper Avenue area at 11 p.m. on Friday 10th February.
Since then, the 70-year-old has failed to return to his home in Glenfuir Court, nor has he been in contact with family or friends.
Concern is now growing for his welfare and anyone who can assist police with their inquiries is asked to come forward.
George is believed to be wearing a green tammy hat, black jacket, long cardigan, blue and white checked shirt, black jeans and khaki-coloured trainers.
Inspector Catherine Sharkey from Falkirk Police Station said: “George has now been missing over the entire weekend and part of this week without being seen or heard from and so far our inquiries have not led us to establish his whereabouts.
“Anyone who knows where he is, or who has seen him since Friday evening, is asked to please contact police immediately.
“We would also urge George to make contact with ourselves, or with his family and friends, and confirm he is safe.”
George is described as:
• Gender: Male.
• Hair: Thinning On Top, Longer On Back And Sides.
• Height: 5’8.
